FIELD: cellulose derivatives production. SUBSTANCE: lignocarbohydrate material containing 35- 60% cellulose, 20-40% lignin, and 13-35% hemicelluloses is treated for 0.5 to 5 h with solution of sodium hydroxide in isopropyl alcohol at 20 to 80 C and then for 0.5 to 5 h with carbon bisulfide at 20 to 60 C. Method can be used for production of sulfur-containing high-molecular surfactants and tilling agents. EFFECT: enabled complete consumption of lignocarbohydrate material and wasteless technology, avoided necessity of separating starting material into lignin and carbohydrates, and extended application area of xanthogenated lignocarbohydrate material. 5 tbl, 24 ex
