FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for steplessly changing gear ratio in transmissions of machines at high values of transmitted power, including stopping of driven shaft under load and reversing. Proposed variable-speed drive contains housing, input and output shafts, gear ratio change handle, two three-dimensional cams, at least one pair of rockers with arms changed by gear ratio change handle installed on vibratory shafts coupled by toothed sectors and engaging with three-dimensions cams for vibrating in antiphase in one plane. Vibratory shafts are coupled with output shaft by means of overrunning clutches. Each vibratory shaft carries fixed gear wheel installed for turning, carrier with pair of planet pinions, turnable gear wheel and plunger connected for combined rotation with turnable gear wheel. Toothed sector turnable by gear ratio change handle and rigidly secured toothed sector are installed coaxially with vibratory shaft on housing. First toothed sector is coupled with turnable gear wheel, and second sector, with fixed gear wheel. Plunger is connected with rocker by mechanism converting rotary motion into translational motion.
