FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: device includes housing (1) with tight chamber (2) inside it. On housing (1) there hinged on spring-loaded hangers are running (3) and odometric (4) wheels. Oil pump (5) is located on the shaft of each running (3) wheel. Tight chamber (2) includes electronic controlling unit (6) receiving the information on the movement speed from odometric (4) wheels, and accumulating unit (7) feeding controller (6). Oil pump (5) is connected via a closed high-pressure pipeline to tank (8) containing hydraulic fluid. Closed high-pressure pipeline has valve (10) controlling the section of the bypass hole for overflow of hydraulic fluid via it, and valve (11) protecting the pipeline against excess pressure rise.

EFFECT: creation of the device for more uniform stabilisation of movement speed of a shell-flaw detector in the pipeline; reduction of wear of pipeline walls, parts of the brake device, and reduction of power consumption.
