SUBSTANCE: proposed device to enlarge image has unit 12 to store exposures of input data of image, unit 18 to store coefficients of filter corresponding to assemblage of enlargement degrees, controller 20 of nonlinear enlargement generating clear signal for reading of proper data of image from unit 12 and address AD3 for selection of coefficient to read out corresponding coefficient from unit 18 on basis of certain width w of region to divide displaying screen into n parts determined beforehand and of enlargement for n regions established in advance and filter 14 to filter data of image from unit 12 on basis of coefficients of filter taken from unit 18 for generation of data of image nonlinearly enlarged in horizontal direction. EFFECT: possibility of enlargement of different regions of image divided into n parts with different degrees of enlargement in horizontal direction to obtain various graphic effects. 5 cl, 6 dwg
