FIELD: heavier-than-air flying vehicles. SUBSTANCE: proposed flapping-wing aircraft has case, front and rear wings, supports for rotation of wings, tail section, engine and gearbox. Provision is made for cardan transmissions which form constant horizontal position of wing base during rotation together with wing rotation supports. Front and rear wings have different areas; they rotate in one direction at 180-deg. phase shift over generatrix of taper surface at vertex in center; provision is also made for cyclic self-regulation of angular position of each wing in the course of rotation at oscillatory longitudinal and longitudinal process.
