AIRCRAFT Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC B64C33/02

Abstract RU 2480378 C1

FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to ornithopter. Manned aircraft comprises fuselage, empennage, landing gear, two wings (four outer wings) flapping in counter phase, and power plant. Outer wings are mounted at transverse beams, the rockers, to turn there around to reach optimum position. Besides, they are provided with wing inertial force accumulators. Said rockers feature positive V-shape to decrease downward flap angle at preserved total flap angle and to decrease landing gear height. Besides, aircraft comprises additional front empennage to reduce negative balancing force at tail plane resulted from shoulder wing that creates dive moment. Wings drive crank gear is shifted sideways from mirror plane XOY.

EFFECT: smoothed consumed power peaks, decreased required power of engines.
