FIELD: hydraulic engineering; applicable in capacity of bank-protecting structure for prevention of river banks scouring, and river bed reformation and performance of river regulation. SUBSTANCE: bank-protecting structure consists of reinforced-rubble-concrete two-layer rubble masonry or two-layer rubble-concrete blocks of various lengths with reinforcing fabric and forming step structure with rising step height in direction to bank, with steps interconnected with high-strength mortar of concrete and divided in plan by structurally deformation seams into separate interconnected by reinforcing fabric reinforced-rubble-concrete blocks. Bank-protecting structure may consists of reinforced-rubble-concrete two-layer components or two-layer components of rubble-concrete of various lengths with reinforcing fabric and forming step structure with rising step heights towards bank and laid on one another without mortar. Adjacent from front side is flexible single-layer reinforced-rubble-concrete apron having in plan form of hexagon with trapezoidal end part. Bank-protecting structure may consist of reinforced-rubble-concrete masonry or masonry with rubble-concrete blocks laid on high-strength mortar, or concrete only over perimeter and over entire height of structural block with filling of internal space between layers of reinforcing fabric with filler. Sizes in plan towards river bank of structure may rise by steps or uniformly, and top face is flat in shape. Working reinforcement is provided in extended zone. EFFECT: provided reliable protection of inhabited localities from flooding and bank scouring with reduced expenditures for construction as compared with known structures. 5 cl, 15 dwg
