FIELD: building units, particularly sound-insulation unit. SUBSTANCE: building unit of "monolith-flexible layer-monolith" type has two monolithic layers. Each monolithic layer has at least one rigid member and is separated from another monolithic layer at least by one layer made of mineral cotton and by air gap. Rigid members are made as U-shaped trays filled with mineral cotton. Coefficient of noise abatement exceeds 50 dB(A) and may exceed 60 dB(A). EFFECT: enhanced sound-insulation, increased assembling speed, simplified construction, reduced cost. 15 cl, 5 dwg
