FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in mechanisms where maintaining of stable speed of rotation of rotation of driven shaft is required. Proposed friction-type variable-speed drive contains driving disk friction member 1 and driven disk friction member 2 installed on relatively perpendicular axles. Driving member 1 is made in from of axially magnetized permanent magnet and is provided with possibility of limited reciprocation along radius of driven member 2. Driven member 2 is hollow. Flexible porous ring gasket 4 made of magnetic rubber is freely fitted in peripheral part of space 3. gasket 4 is fixed in space over its outer end face surface. Free space of space 3 is filled with liquid 6. EFFECT: provision of automatic change of gear ratio to ensure constant rotation of driven shaft. 2 dwg
