FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed device for determining geometric parameters of wheel mounting and position of shaft and axles of vehicles by means of optical measuring system contains at least one optical television transmitting device making it possible to get image in at least two different aspects. Marking device contains independent or wheel-located system of measuring marks and data processing unit. Said marking device has at least one arrangement with system of reference marks, at least three marks are provided for each position of measuring. Measuring space is located between system(s) of reference marks and level of arrangement of measuring stand base. Information on location of reference marks in measuring space is kept-in data processing unit. At least three such reference are provided in system for each wheel. Invention provides easy getting of information on large number of geometric parameters without necessity of accurate adjustment of position of transmitting television device.
