FIELD: diagnostics of electrization of structural materials. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in medicine for evaluation of functional condition of man, his organs and systems by measurement of electric potentials in biologically active points of skin. Method consists in preliminary measurement of potential V' at measuring element coming in the form of current-conducting electrode and film electret put on it with free surface charged in opposition to examined surface, placed at distance l from surface of metal plate with zero potential. Then potential V'' is measured at measuring element placed at same distance l from charged surface of object. Value Vp of potential of charged surface, for instance, skin is found by formula Vp = (V″-V′)Cin/CLξl/L+1), where Cin is input capacitance of recording gear; CL is electret capacitance; ξ is dielectric permittivity of material of electret; L is electret thickness.
