FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves placing skin surface area on fixed disk-shaped screen having measuring hole which dimensions are not greater than mean biologically active point geometric dimensions. Potential Ve, excited by uniform static field of the skin area is measured on measuring element having electromagnetic drive designed as pin coaxially positioned under the measuring hole. Unknown value of potential Vк is to be determined from relation Ve = [C′/(C′+C″)]•Vк, where C′ is partial capacitance between measuring element end and skin surface area bounded with measuring hole, C″ is the input capacitance of the recording device. The device has calibration unit allowing one to graduate external indicator unit scale of recording device in absolute values of potential value to be determined. High resolution is provided due to measuring hole of measuring element having diameter matching geometric dimensions of biologically active points. High sensitivity is achieved due to extremely small distance between the measuring element end and skin surface. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and reliability of measurement data. 10 cl, 4 dwg
