METHOD OF ASSEMBLING VAN-TYPE BODY FROM SANDWICH PANELS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed method of assembling van-type body comes to making sandwich panels are mounted forming side, front and rear panels of body. Sandwich panels are made up of outer cover plate, inner cover plate made of foamed plastic providing heat insulation, and embedded member designed for fastening mounted equipment both from outside and inside of body and assembling of panels to form roof and bevels. Sandwich panels are essentially glued panels whose outer cover plate is 27 mm thick, and they consist of plastic laminated and plywood, 4 mm thick, to increase rigidity of panels. Embedded member is made of birch plywood, 27 mm thick, and frame is made of metal sections and wood flooring secured of frame. Sandwich panels are fastened of frame by means of aluminum angle plates 9 onto which flue composition 12 is applied. Roof, bevels and side panels are connected by glue and rivet joints through aluminum angle plates. EFFECT: reduced labor input and mass of load bearing structure, improved reliability. 5 dwg
