FIELD: pipe line transport; delivery of fluid medium at high pressure to large number of consumers. SUBSTANCE: pressure in system of pipes 1 is controlled by mans of regulator 9 depending on flow rate of medium; control characteristic between preset minimum and preset maximum bends smoothly in way of increasing pressure. Electrical value proportional to amount of flowing fluid medium and respectively to its flow rate is fed to regulator 9; in case of deviation of actual magnitude from preset control characteristic R of nominal magnitude of pressure, motor revolutions are regulated to compensate for this deviation.
