FIELD: methods of burning gaseous fuel; operation of boiler plants; industrial and manual manufacture of glass articles. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes delivery of rich and lean flows to combustion zone at preliminary preheating of rich mixture flow to ignition temperature forming combustible mixture due to injection of combustion products of lean mixture flow; combustible mixed formed from two flows is injected by third flow of gas-and-air mixture; flows are located coaxially relative to each other; injection is performed at increase of velocities of flows from peripheral combustion jet towards its axis forming active straight-flow jet , or vertex jet, or developed jet; at forming of straight-flow and vortex combustion jets, gas-and-air mixture of first and second flows is fed to combustion zone at angle; at forming vortex combustion jet, secondary air is additionally fed to combustion zone over its periphery for twisting the flows in fire spiral; at forming developed combustion jet, gas-and-air mixture of third and second flows is fed combustion zone at angle. Provision is made for version of obtaining temperature above 2000 C, oxygen is delivered to combustion zone instead of gas-and-air mixture of third flow. Injection of incomplete combustion of products of first flow at bas of jet is effected by means of injector made from heat- resistant material.
