FIELD: devices for production of glass microballs and microspheres made out of powdered glass.

SUBSTANCE: the offered invention is pertaining to devices for production of glass microballs and microspheres made out of powdered glass and may be used for a thermal treatment of other loose inorganic materials, for example, aluminous, quartz, lime powders. The technical result of the tendered invention is provision of effectiveness of the device operation, improvement of quality and efficiency of the process of production of the glass microballs and microspheres. The device for production of the glass microballs and microspheres contains a central tube with the expanded output head, a coaxially located to it the annular chamber limited on its periphery by a cylindrical wall. On the bottom underside of the annular chamber and closed by the bottom there is a branch pipe for feeding a gas-air mixture into it, and from the top side between a flange and a cylindrical wall of the chamber there are the slot-type nozzles. On the bottom of the annular chamber there are cylindrical shells and a branch pipe forming the ring-type space, where on a cylindrical shell and coaxially to a central pipe is located a fixed injection head with a circular row of in-pairs located injection and mixing nozzles separated from each other by a ring-type groove. The injection and mixing nozzles in relation to the axis of the injection head are located at an angle being in the interval of 0-15°. In the body of the injection head there are the cylindrical nozzles located in the chessboard order and surrounded by the injection and mixing nozzles.

EFFECT: the invention ensures an increased effectiveness of the device operation, improved efficiency of the process of production and the quality of the glass microballs and microspheres.
