SUBSTANCE: device that provides for improving lighting-up process thereby improving performance characteristics of machine used for the purpose, saving fuel, affording clean exhaust, and enhancing efficiency of machine has housing with side electrode and insulator mounted in housing and provided with central electrode set apart from side one. Side electrode has through hole and central one has depression on side electrode end coaxial with hole in side electrode. Toothed shoulder is made around side electrode hole whose teeth are facing central electrode. Toothed shoulder may have minimum two teeth of, say, triangular section arranged both coaxially and radially to central electrode axis. Tooth height is minimum 10 to 20% of side electrode through hole diameter and tooth width is minimum 15 to 45% of this diameter.
