FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to sparking plugs predominantly intended for ignition of working mixture in internal combustion engines. Sparking plug has case, central electrode and ground electrode coming in the form of U-shaped plate joined to threaded metal part of sparking plug. Hole whose diameter is larger than central electrode by two values of gap is located in center of ground electrode, uniaxially with central electrode. Lower plane of hole in U-shaped plate of ground electrode and upper plate of central electrode are matched and form ring-shaped surface of spark. EFFECT: raised power of engine, reduced fuel consumption, total burning of fuel mixture, improved ecological characteristics by content of harmful emission. 2 dwg
