FIELD: tests of closed vessels. SUBSTANCE: method and gear are intended to test closed vessels filled with products of which one is liquid for tightness. In correspondence with invention closed vessels filled with products which contain at least one liquid component are placed in testing chamber which is pumped out till pressure of vapor of this liquid component is obtained. Pressures in space surrounding vessel and in testing chamber are controlled. Control is carried out with the help of pressure transducer and pressure in space surrounding vessel is reduced by means of vacuum pump. Leakage is detected by control over change of pressure in space surrounding vessel that occurs due to evaporation of liquid outflowing from point of leak and evaporating in space of low pressure surrounding vessel. EFFECT: provision for short-time test with high measurement accuracy, development of effective and inexpensive method and gear for tightness testing. 66 cl, 20 dwg
