FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method can be used for testing leak-proofness of any closed vessels under condition that one of components, which fills vessel, has to be liquid component. To inspect air-proofness of closed vessels filled with product which has at least one liquid component, the vessel is placed into test chamber, which is pumped out till achieving vapor pressure of the liquid component. Pressure in environment is inspected and in testing chamber. Inspection is carried put by means of vacuum pressure transducer while pressure of environment is reduced by means of vacuum pump. Leakage is detected by means of changing pressure in environment, which change is induced due to liquid evaporation, which liquid goes out of leakage area and which evaporates into environment with lower pressure.
EFFECT: shorter cycle of testing; improved precision of measurement.
