FIELD: testing engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises setting the vessel to be tested in the testing chamber that is evacuated at least down to a pressure of vapor of the liquid component and measuring the ambient pressure and, hence, the pressure inside the testing chamber. The pressure is measured by a vacuum pressure gage. The evacuation of ambient fluid is carried out by means of a vacuum pump. The leakage is judged by changing the pressure in the space around the vessel, which is caused by the evaporation of liquid outflowing from the site of leakage in the ambient space with low pressure.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
