FIELD: space engineering; space suits for performing work in extravehicular space. SUBSTANCE: lower part of space suit envelope includes load-bearing and hermetic envelopes, talocrural articulations and load-bearing system which is additionally provided with bent rings symmetrical shape fitted with shift limiting units, rigid plates and transversal cords on talocrural articulations. Lower part of space suit envelope is also provided with shock-absorbing insoles located inside hermetic envelope, cords located on load-bearing envelope and lugs. Pressure envelope, lugs and shock- absorbing insoles are made from three layers. Lugs are secured to pressure envelope by means of tapes located over center of lugs along sole. Longitudinal tapes are fastened with load-bearing envelope over entire length; these tapes are laid in three layers on articulation and are sewn together. Provision is made for regulation of cords of load-bearing system over perimeter. EFFECT: improved service characteristics; enhanced mobility of lower part of space suit. 11 cl, 7 dwg
