SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new sulfonamido-substituted benzopyrane derivatives of the formula (I): wherein R(5) is at one of positions 5, 6, 7 or 8; R(1) and R(2) mean independently of one another hydrogen atom or alkyl with 1-6 carbon atoms; R(3) means R(10)- C_nH_2n wherein R(10) means hydrogen atom or methyl group; n means a whole number = 0-10; R(4) means R(13)-C_rH_2r being one CH₂-group can be replaced for -CO-O- or -O-CO-group; R(13) means methyl or trifluoromethyl group; r means a whole number = 0-12; R(5) means -Y- C_SH_2S-R(18) wherein Y means -O-; s means a whole number = 1-8; R(18) means hydrogen atom, trifluoromethyl or phenyl; R(6) means group - OR(10d) or -OCOR(10d) wherein R(10d) means hydrogen atom or alkyl with 1-3 carbon atoms; B means hydrogen atom; or R(6) and B form in common a linkage; and also to their physiologically acceptable salts. Invention relates also to method for preparing compounds of the formula (I) and to pharmaceutical composition eliciting blocking effect on K⁺-channels based on these compounds. Invention provides preparing new compounds and medicinal agents based on thereof used for prophylaxis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, being most notably arrhythmia, treatment of digestive tract ulcers and treatment of diseases associated with diarrhea.
