SUBSTANCE: invention relates to indanyl-substituted benzenecarbonamides of the formula (I):
wherein R(8) means 1-indanyl residue of the formula (II)
or 2-indanyl residue of the formula (III)
and wherein R(1) and R(2) mean independently of one another R(20)-CrH2r wherein R(20) means hydrogen atom (H), CH3, CH2F, cycloalkyl with 3, 4, 5, 6 carbon (C) atoms, phenyl or N-containing heterocycle with 5 carbon (C) atoms being phenyl and N-containing heterocycle are unsubstituted or substituted with 1 or 2 substituents taken among the group consisting of OH, methoxy-group; r = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8; or R(1) and R(2) mean in common a chain consisting of 5 methylene groups among them one CH2-group is replaced by -O-. Compounds are useful especially as anti-arrhythmic biologically active substances of new type used especially for treatment and prophylaxis of atrium arrhythmia, for example, atrium flickering (atrial flickering, AF) or atrium trembling (atrial trembling). Invention describes also a method for preparing compounds and pharmaceutical composition.
