FIELD: equipment to dry materials. SUBSTANCE: invention can be utilized to produce dry powders from vegetable and fruit marc and waste of alcohol production at food and mixed feed factories. Drier for predominantly sticky materials has immobile cylindrical body, axial branch pipe feeding drying agent entered into body with circular clearance and rotor processing chamber located in clearance. Rotor comes in the form of shell with helical blades on internal and external surfaces with formation of composite processing chamber from external and internal autonomous helical conduits housing blades developed in opposition. Conduits intercommunicate over butts of shell with the aid of flow windows in shell. Perforated cylindrical insert is installed in circular clearance between body and shell. Helical conduits of processing chamber are filled with mobile spherical bodies forming contact surface. Surfaces of walls of helical conduits, spherical bodies and units contacting material can be coated or produced from substance displaying low adhesion ( fluoroplastic ) and compatible with dried material.
