FIELD: cooling equipment. SUBSTANCE: evaporator comprises two manifolds and a number of tubes extending between manifolds. Tubes define separate channels for coolant. One manifold has at least one coolant inlet device. Coolant inlet device comprises the first pass connectable with evaporative coolant source opposite the second and the third passes connected with the first pass. The second pass extends from the first manifold side, the third pass is directed towards above manifold side. EFFECT: improved liquid coolant distribution into evaporator, increased efficiency of coolant evaporation. 13 cl, 5 dwg _
