FIELD: testing equipment. SUBSTANCE: values of vibratory properties of seals placed on vessels are established while realizing proposed technique to test plugged vessels, these values are compared with admissible values and signal indicating whether measured value lies within limits of range of admissible values or outside it is formed. Values of vibratory properties of blanks of seals are found in addition in correspondence with invention before placement of seals and range of admissible values of vibratory properties for seals put on vessels is chosen depending on vibratory properties of corresponding blank of seal, within limits of valid range of values admissible for blanks of this type. EFFECT: increased reliability of test of plugged vessels. 4 cl, 2 dwg
