FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: installation contains, at least, one metal product or element in contact with the liquid-metal coolant, wherein in the liquid-metal coolant, the average concentration of iron in the liquid-metal coolant (CFe), the average concentration of chromium in the liquid-metal coolant (CCr), the average concentration of nickel in the liquid-metal coolant (CNi) lie in the following ranges: 2.0 10-5 wt % ≤CFe≤7.3 10-3 wt %; 0 wt % (exactly) <CCr≤2.8⋅10-3 wt %; 0 wt % (exactly) <CNi≤2.8⋅10-3 wt %. Possibility to control the maximum level of iron, chromium, and nickel impurities in the LMC of a nuclear installation when creating, operating, and decommissioning a nuclear facility with a LMC reactor, while ensuring that the fuel cell is not damaged in its way by maintaining a nuclear installation in the LMC in the CFe, CCr, and CNi.
EFFECT: increasing the possibilities for optimizing the modes of a nuclear installation.
