FIELD: public services and agriculture. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use on plots of country cottages and farmsteads for producing fuel biogas and high-quality disinfected organic fertilizers from vegetable waste, fecal, dung and cattle droppings and poultry manure by method of anaerobic fermentation. Proposed methane tank for anaerobic fermentation of diluted organic waste contains vertically installed cylindrical reservoir with conical bottom and dome with dividing concentric partition in form of truncated cone connected to dome from below without reaching the bottom. Base of cone points to bottom of reservoir. Said partition divides reservoir into outer and inner chamber. Methane tank is provided with branch pipes to let in diluted organic waste into outer chamber and let out fermented sediment from inner chamber, and also branch pipes to let out biogas from gas collector in reservoir dome and outer chamber. Slots or round holes are made over perimeter of connection of dividing concentric partition in form of truncated cone to conical dome to let out biogas from outer chamber into upper part on inner chamber. Branch pipe to let in diluted organic waste into outer chamber is made over outer chamber in conical dome in form of vertical stand pipe with funnel secured from top or made detachable, and with t-pipe from bottom. Brach pipe to let out fermented sediment from inner chamber is made in form of pipe with connected tap, mark of threshold of connection of tap to pipe being higher than mark of base of gas collector on conical dome. Invention provides easy manufacture and operation of methane tank and efficiency of its use at vegetable and garden plots and farmsteads. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 cl, 6 dwg
