REHABILITATION DEVICE FOR ADAPTATION OF VERTEBRAL COLUMN TO LOADS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medical rehabilitation equipment, applicable for rehabilitation of patients with vartious vertebral column pathology, as well as in professional sport for achievement of maximum result. SUBSTANCE: a bed frame carries five transversal parallel members, two lower of which (locks for feet and the poptical one) and two upper ones (locks for the thoracolumber and thoracal branches of the vertebral column) are fixed. The middle element(support for the interior-lumbar branch of the vertebral column and pelvis) can move under a dosed load in the plane perpendicular to the working one. The movable support is connected to an angle-of-turn sensor and a liquid-crystalline indicator. The two upper and two lower elements can be adjusted in vertical relative to the middle element, the poptical lock and the lock for the thoracal branch of the vertebral column can be additionally adjusted in the horizontal plane. The lock for the feet and the lock for the thracolumbar transition of the vertebral column form a working plane, and the poptical lock is brought out of its limits. The bed frame is provided with a mechanism for changing the slope of the working plane. EFFECT: provided a dosed purposeful action, which makes it possible to recover the physiologic mechanism of load distribution, correct the posture, form a new motor stereotype, adapt the vertebral column to axial, angular and weight loads, carry out functional tests. 8 dwg
