FIELD: technology of laboratory examination of processes of crystal formation and crystallization from sugar-containing solutions by their cooling utilized in sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: gear to study processes of crystal formation and crystallization by cooling of sugar-carrying solutions includes vessel with thermostatting jacket, circuit for programmed control over temperature of solution that incorporates temperature-sensitive element and program unit, refractometer, microscope. Fixture to create vibrations consists of D C motor, thyristor control unit, eccentric mechanism kinematically coupled to vertical rod and piezoelectric pickup of accelerometer. Lower end of rod carries clamping mechanism to fix large monocrystals of saccharose. Gear is provided with centrifuge, drying cabinet and strobe tachometer. Program unit incorporates voltage generator with potential of time development by linear to exponential law and comparator to which inputs temperature-sensitive element and voltage generator are connected, output of comparator is connected to ultrathermostat and temperature-sensitive element comes in the form of transistor temperature to voltage converter. EFFECT: increased accuracy of control, enhanced coefficient of homogeneity and output of finished crystals. 1 dwg
