FIELD: mobile communications. SUBSTANCE: proposed frame structure for common physical channel (random access channel) of incoming communication line has separate preamble and data part. Preamble is used by base station to find out that mobile station tries to transfer random access request. Data part of this channel has user s data and pilot-signal characters affording energy for channel assessment in the course of data part reception. Guard time (To) is best of all entered between preamble and frame data part which makes it possible to detect data within this unoccupied time. EFFECT: improved compatibility between proposed frame structure and structure of specialized physical channel of incoming communication line. 49 cl, 9 dwg
