FIELD: metallurgy; units for refining metals and alloys. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes molten metal receiver with filter having several filter elements which are made from woven material. One filter element is inserted and other filter element embraces lower part of receiver. Novelty of invention consists in higher quality and higher rate of refining metal and intensification of process of mounting and dismantling of upper part of filter which is heavily loaded. Purified melt enters crystallization zone by laminar flow, thus equalizing temperature field in crystallizer dim and forming homogeneous structure of ingot. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 1 ex
