FIELD: food-processing industry, in particular, production of spherical chocolate articles. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing liquid product capable of hardening; using pair of parallel shafts with depressions on their outer cylindrical surfaces and feeding devices for applying liquid product onto said shafts; supplying liquid product into depressions of first shaft for forming of first individual part of food product and into depressions of second shaft for forming of second individual part of food product; rotating shafts in opposite directions so that shaft surfaces move one toward another and said individual parts are joined with one another to form single product; cooling shafts for at least partial hardening of product on their outer part.
