FIELD: combination working of metals by cutting, possibly finishing surfaces of precision machine parts made of material having trend for occurring flaws such as burnouts and microcracking. SUBSTANCE: combination type tool includes grinding wheel with members for fastening it on mandrel and apparatus mounted coaxially relative to tool for working metallic surfaces by means of balls. Fastening members are in the form of four skew washers, two washers at each end of tool. Such fastening system provides axially shifted cutting layer and allows to mount wheel and apparatus by inclination angle relative to plane normal to lengthwise axis. Such design provides possibility for gradually regulating amplitude of tool oscillation due to changing inclination angle of wheel and apparatus. EFFECT: improved design, enlarged manufacturing possibilities of tool, enhanced quality, accuracy and efficiency of working. 2 cl, 6 dwg
