FIELD: production, primary processing and reprocessing of wool. SUBSTANCE: method involves processing formed mellow wool layer by exposing to air oxygen aeroions with concentration of at least 2•10⁶ cm^-3, produced at voltage of 10-110 kV and air relative humidity of at least 40%, said aeroions being obtained from aeroionizer arranged at distance of at least 50 cm from layer surface. EFFECT: increased efficiency in keeping and restoring wool properties during storage thereof after shearing, before and after washing, drying and reprocessing procedures.
