FIELD: optics. SUBSTANCE: given binocular system includes two lenses, two eye-pieces, magnetic system attached to frame, gimbal suspension joined by means of internal ring to support anchored on frame, mobile inertial system incorporating inversion system fixed on external ring of gimbal suspension, cantilever anchored with one end on external ring of gimbal suspension. Cantilever carries two types of plates. Plates of first type are made of nonmagnetic material with little resistivity and plates of second type are made of magnetically soft material. Magnetic system comes in the form of two magnetic elements separated by air gap. Each magnetic element of magnetic system is provided with magnetic switch produced from magnetically soft material, connected with one end to magnetic element and with other end embracing plate of first type of cantilever. EFFECT: design of simple stabilization system displaying small dimensions and mass and ensuring identity of characteristics of stabilizer for various directions of vibration of frame. 5 cl, 1 dwg
