FIELD: dehydration of light oil products; use of water of hydrophobic packings for coalescence; production of fuels of required quality from the standpoint of water content.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method is based on interaction of watery oil product with coalescence packing; used as coalescence material is petroleum coke (fraction composition of 2-10 mm) calcined at temperature of 600-650 C for 5 hours or foamed polyurethane of different form (cords, 5-25 mm in diameter and 5 to 100 mm long or crumb, 20-60 mm at density of 25-32 kg/m), or granulated poly-formaldehyde, polyethylene of fluoroplastic, 2-10 mm in diameter. Oil product is passed downwards and gaseous nitrogen is fed towards oil product flow. Device is filled with packing of one type smoothly or layer by layer; layers are separated by grates.
EFFECT: improved quality of treated oil product.
