METHOD OF MANUFACTURE OF PNEUMATIC TIRE WITHOUT BEAD RING Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: tire industry. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method of manufacture of pneumatic tire without bead ring and provided with radial carcass reinforcement members passing from one bead to the other edges to form overturns of carcass reinforcement members, each bead is strengthened by set of axially adjoining layers of axially adjoining layers of strengthening members forming angle β with circumference within, 0<β≤10^° and carcass reinforcement members are wound around complex to form carcass reinforcement member turn. Complex of axially adjoining layers is manufactured separately from carcass reinforcement blank and said strengthening members are placed on drum with radius R, at least one layer of strengthening members being members being orientated at angle of α≥10^°. Then said layer is stretched by increasing radius of drum to R₁ exceeding R. Cylindrical sleeve is formed by two layers of members intersecting from one layer to the other and orientated at angle of α≥10^°. Then radius of drum is increased to R₂ to form final angle β between strengthening members owing to pantographic effect. Assembling of complex of adjoining layers is finished, and assembled complex is removed from drum and placed on required place on assembly drum of carcass reinforcement members cylindrical blank. EFFECT: provision of accurate arrangement of strengthening layers relative to each other, facilitated cutting of non-cured layers and their joining at required angles. 7 cl, 19 dwg
