SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer composite materials based on polydimethylsiloxane rubbers comprising no active groups, which may be used for manufacturing films, thin-layer and large-volume articles in mechanical engineering, electrical. Medical, food, and other industries. Composite is prepared by applying mixture of high-molecular polydimethylsiloxane rubber including photoinitiator onto polyethylene substrate followed by light-initiated hardening, said photoinitiator being organic carbonyl-containing compounds of the series of aromatic ketones and quinones selected from derivatives of benzophenone, xanthone, anthrone, anthraquinone taken in amounts 0.001-0.01 mole per 1 kg rubber.
