FIELD: composite materials. SUBSTANCE: material applicable to face mineral processing and mining equipment is prepared in two steps. First filled superhigh-molecular polyethylene is molded with chalk, kaoline, or tuff with dispersity not exceeding 50 mcm as a filler, weight ratio of the latter to polyethylene being (0.1-0.5):1. Material is kept under pressure at 20 C for 5 min. The second layer is prepared from crude rubber (natural or synthetic) under pressure 7.5 MPa/sq.cm at 140-180 C for 30 min. Finally material is cooled at room temperature in mold to yield plates with predetermined thickness. Adhesion strength of rubber to a thermoplastic polymer is 101-114 N/sq.cm. EFFECT: improved adhesion characteristics. 2 tbl
