FIELD: polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for manufacture of foamed thermoplastic polyurethanes by means of thermally expandable microspheres as well as to foamed thermoplastic polyurethanes and reaction systems used for manufacturing foamed thermoplastic polyurethanes. Foaming of thermoplastic polyurethane is performed in presence of hydrocarbon-containing thermally expandable microspheres used in amount 0.1 to 5.0 parts per 100 parts of polyurethane. Thus obtained polyurethanes have density of the order of 350 kg/m3, Shore hardness 58, abrasion of the order of 130 mg, deformation resistance more than 100000 cycles, and out-of-mold removal time about 130 sec. These materials can be molded into any articles, e. g. into interior and exterior automobile parts, electronic equipment casings, packaging materials, sports and leisure ware.
