FIELD: radiochemistry. SUBSTANCE: raffinates from transplutonium element production contain 0.2-0.7 mole/l nitrate ions and 0.3-0.5 mole/l citrate ions. Solution of sulfur in sodium sulfide is added to initial solution to concentration of sulfur up to 0.5 mole/l and that of sodium sulfide 0.3-0.5 mole/l, after which follows sorption at pH 8-12 on high-basic anionite (AB-17) in nitrate form, which is finally washed with water. Desorption of ruthenium is accomplished with ammonia solution (at least 1 mole/l) containing hydrogen peroxide in amounts no lower than stoichiometric with respect to adsorbed sulfide and polysulfide ions. EFFECT: enabled recovery of ruthenium from sorbent for its further use. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
