FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the preparation of sorbents for the recovery of toxic components from aqueous media, namely to a method for producing a sorbent for the recovery of selenium, tellurium. Method includes sorption on a granulated macroporous anion exchanger of sulfide ions followed by condensation of sorbed sulfide ions with formaldehyde. In the process of condensation of sorbed sulfide ions with formaldehyde, morpholine is introduced in a molar ratio to formaldehyde of at least 1:10.
EFFECT: technical result is the preparation of a sorbent capable of recovering selenium and tellurium from aqueous media.
