FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of sorbents for extracting metal ions from aqueous media. Disclosed is a method of producing a ruthenium sorbent, comprising performing a process of sorption of sulphide ions on granular macroporous anionite, followed by condensation of sorbed sulphide-ions with formaldehyde. At condensation step, thiourea is added with molar ratio of thiourea to formaldehyde of not less than 1:3.
EFFECT: invention provides high degree of extraction of ruthenium in dynamic conditions of sorption.
