SUBSTANCE: the suggested fodder contains efficient quantity of active Perna canaliculus extract. The latter could be both in powder-like or lipid form, predominantly, at the quantity to provide the dosage ranged 0.18-114 mg powder/kg body weight/d or at the quantity of 1.5-1000 mg Perna canaliculus powder/400 kCal fodder mentioned, as for efficient amount of lipid part it corresponds to about 1.0-13 mg/kg body weight/d or about 10.0-100 mg/400 kCal fodder mentioned. Therapeutic method is characterized by the fact that animals are fed with a diet containing efficient amount of Perna canaliculus powder or its lipid part, moreover, efficient amount corresponds to about 0.18-114 mg powder/kg/d/domestic animal, or about 1.5-1000 mg powder/400 kCal fodder mentioned, or about 1.0-13 mg lipid part/kg/d/domestic animal, or about 10.0-100 mg lipid part/400 kCal fodder mentioned. Feeding with the product obtained deteriorates arthritic symptoms and maintains healthy joints in domestic animals.
