METHOD FOR CATHETERIZATION OF LYMPH NODE Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, surgery.

SUBSTANCE: the method could be applied at endolymphatic injecting medicinal preparations for patients with gastric cancer, especially, in cases of metastases in lymph nodes and flabby fallen lymph nodes. The method includes dyeing the vessel with a dyestuff, moreover, a flexible conductor should be inserted into needle's lumen to be then introduced into vascular lumen. Conductor's end should be kept in a vessel. Needle should be withdrawn out of the vessel. Catheter with presharpened end up to the angle of 55 deg. should be introduced into lymph node along flexible conductor to be fixed there. Then flexible conductor should be withdrawn out of the vessel and catheter. As a result, the method provides catheterization of peripheral vessel and multiple application of the above-mentioned catheter.
