METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF PERIPHERAL LYMPHATIC VESSELS IN THEIR CATHETERIZATION Russian patent published in 2025 - IPC A61B17/00 A61B17/122 A61M25/01 A61P23/02 A61K31/245

Abstract RU 2835447 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery. Depot of 0.5% novocaine in amount of 20-40 ml is created 10-12 cm from the access point to the lymphatic vessel in the subcutaneous fat layer. Thereafter, novocaine is mechanically injected from its depot into the lymphatic network by progressive pressing-sliding motions over the skin surface from the depot to the place of the future incision. Surgical approach to peripheral lymphatic vessel is performed by skin transverse incision under local anaesthesia. Deep structures in the subcutaneous fat layer are separated by a blunt method using a mosquito-type clamp. In the process of searching for a lymphatic vessel, novocaine is mechanically injected from its depot into the lymphatic network by progressive pressing-sliding movements along the surface of the skin in the direction from the depot to the skin incision. Lymphatic vessel is detected under optical control using a head magnifier or a microscope and separated. Peripheral lymphatic vessel is cleaned from adventitia and catheterised.

EFFECT: method enables to perform catheterization of a peripheral lymphatic vessel without its preliminary colouring, which simplifies and speeds up its implementation, to reduce the risk of vessel walls damage when it is cleaned from surrounding adventitia and disproportionate incision when forming an opening for endolymphatic catheter introduction.
