SUBSTANCE: invention is dealing with radiochemistry and can be used for immobilization of radioactive waste from solutions having been used for treating radionuclide-polluted areas and reservoirs. Sorbent according to invention is composed of, wt %: silicon dioxide 25-26, calcium oxide 45-52, aluminum oxide 5-7, and magnesium oxide 13-15.

EFFECT: achieved irreversible adsorption of radionuclides.
