FIELD: water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a composite sorbent for treating waste water. Invention relates to a method of producing a composite sorbent, comprising thermal treatment of a mixture containing silicon dioxide, aluminium oxide, calcium oxide and magnesium oxide, wherein potassium oxide, sodium oxide and iron oxide are additionally taken and said mixture is subjected to thermal treatment in the temperature range of 910-980 °C, the components are taken in the following ratio, wt. %: silicon dioxide 15-23; calcium oxide 54-57; aluminium oxide 15-18; magnesium oxide 6-8; potassium oxide 0.5-1.0; sodium oxide 0.5-1.0; iron oxide 1.0-3.0.
EFFECT: high efficiency of irreversible sorption of oil products, radionuclides and heavy metals by a composite sorbent based on calcium and aluminium silicates.
